“I spent a couple of weeks at Rote Beach Bungalows with family and friends for a 60th birthday. We couldn’t have landed at a better place. Great access to the surf, to local fishing spots, secluded beach and a short bike ride into the main village. Its not bells and whistles fancy, just a really well run, super comfortable and chilled place in an extremely beautiful setting. All the local crew that run the show were committed to helping us have the best holiday possible and we couldn’t have asked for more. Hopefully ill see you all again soon.”

“Rote Beach Bungalows is my go-to place in Rote, perfectly located near Nemberala. I’ve stayed several times and always enjoyed meeting friendly guests, which made traveling alone much more enjoyable. What sets Rote Beach Bungalows apart is the sense of community, something I haven’t experienced at other accommodations in the area, and of course it’s stunning ocean view and peacefulness - the jaffles and pancakes in the morning are also a solid reason to stay there. Ibu Mince and Pak Alex are always welcoming, and it’s a pleasure to see them again each time I return. I’m also always keen to catch up with Anne-Marie and George, the owners, who are easygoing, caring, and create such a relaxed, inviting atmosphere.”

“The location is sublime, the grounds safe, beautiful, and immaculately maintained. There are a number of bungalows of various sizes, accommodating families or singles. All are located so that a view of the ocean is available from the room, looking out over white sand, an azure ocean, and onto waves breaking over the distance reefs. There is a lovely white sand beach at the front of the property nestled in a protective cove. Sunsets are world's best. Breakfast is included and it's a nice time to mingle with other guests and chat in the communal eating area. Always a few good tips to be given or picked up. We always recommend family and friends stay at Rote Beach Bungalows when visiting Rote, knowing they'll be well looked after, safe, and happy!
